Embeds made better?
This is a test post, but if it works, maybe I'll revise into a real post!
So... embeds. I spend a lot of time telling clients "looks great, won't work on email." They're confused, especially if they've been believing the email preview. (Tip: Don't. Send yourself a copy instead.)

Paste in the Spotify URL, decide if links go to Spotify or the post, and click 'copy'. Paste once (not even in an html card), and... 🎉

Here's what the email looks like, using gmail in the browser. I'm pretty pleased with this!
I've opted for the moment to use this smaller card for instagram, since much instagram content is vertical. There's also a taller card option that looks more like the native embed.
And finally, what's it look like on ActivityPub? Let's find out. (By hitting publish on this post.)
Hmm... that was when I learned that Spotify now works on ActivityPub. That wasn't true a few months ago! OK, trying again with visibility set correctly so that the fallback card is email only.
Perfect.
